BAG POLICY

Upstream follows CenturyLink Field’s bag policy at the Sound Lot (our main stage experience) and all venues throughout the campus.
 

CLEAR BAGS

Bags must be clear, plastic, vinyl or PVC not to exceed 12” x 6” x 12”.
 

SMALL CLUTCHES/PURSES/WALLETS

Small clutch bags that do not exceed 4.5" x 6.5", with or without a handle or strap, may be carried along with one of the clear bag options.


 

VENUE EXCEPTIONS

Please note: Some venues may uphold their own bag policies. When the schedule is announced we will be sure to note any specific bag policies that differ from Upstream’s bag policy.

 

CODE OF CONDUCT

 

SAFETY, SECURITY & MEDICAL

We make every effort to create a safe environment at Upstream, including public and private security throughout the event. If you need any medical assistance, seek out the medical tent located at the North Lot or look for a Police officer or Upstream volunteer. For emergencies, immediately dial 9-1-1. For non-emergencies, the Seattle Police Department is available at (206) 625-5011.
 

UPSTREAM CODE OF CONDUCT

Upstream is committed to creating a safe, comfortable and memorable experience for all participants. We use the following guidelines within all of our venues and on our Upstream digital channels in an effort to make your experience a positive one.

This event is for everyone
Upstream is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body type, race, or religion. We’re serious about this and do not tolerate:
  • Verbal of physical abuse/fighting
  • Derogatory or discriminatory language
  • Offensive gestures
  • Any form of harassment
  • Any other disruptive or abusive behavior
  • Excessive intoxication
 

Prohibited Items

 
There are also a few things we don’t allow inside our venues:
  • Aerosol cans
  • Professional audio and recording equipment, including cameras and video equipment (unless you have a press pass)
  • Drones or any other flying devices
  • Outside food and beverage (unless it’s for your baby)
  • Illegal of illicit substances of any kind
  • Animals or pets (except designated service animals)
  • Professional radios or walkie-talkies
  • Smoking (including vaping) within the venues for the Fest or the Summit
  • Pyrotechnics, fireworks, weapons or explosives of any kind
  • Unauthorized vending
  • Illegal activity

These are subject to change. Please note that Upstream is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

Participants are expected to follow these rules or they may be removed from the event, without refund. We reserve the right to deny or eject anybody who violates our code of conduct or the law.

CENTURYLINK FIELD

For performances on the Main Stage, the CenturyLink Field Code of Conduct will apply. For your convenience, this is included below and can be found at www.centurylinkfield.com/stadium-guide.

CenturyLink Field - Stadium Code of Conduct

CenturyLink Field management are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for our guests. We ask that you help us promote an environment where everyone can enjoy the experience. If you see anyone exhibiting these behaviors and impeding on your fun, let us know!
  • Behavior that is unruly, disruptive or illegal in nature
  • Intoxication or other signs of impairment that results in irresponsible behavior
  • Foul / abusive language or obscene gestures
  • Interference with the progress of the game (including throwing objects onto the field)
  • Failing to follow instructions of stadium personnel
  • Verbal or physical harassment of opposing team fans
  • Verbal or physical harassment of stadium guests and staff members
  • Smoking or tobacco (including E-cigarettes) use of any kind on CenturyLink Field property is prohibited

PERMITTED ITEMS

Items approved to carry into the stadium: 
  • Empty Plastic Water Bottle or Factory Sealed Water Bottle
  • Small Sized personal Cameras without case
  • Children’s Soft Sided Single Serve Beverage Containers
  • Single serving size food in clear bags, pizza boxes, and children’s juice boxes. All bags must be clear.
  • Seat Cushions (without pockets)
  • Umbrellas (may not be used in seating bowl)
  • Tablets (including iPads, Surfaces, Kindles, etc.)
  • Signs (must not obstruct the view of others)
  • Single serving size food in clear bags, pizza boxes, and children’s juice boxes. All bags must be clear.
  • Exceptions are also given for medical supplies (including breast pumps and milk). NOTE: Diaper bags must conform to the listed size restriction of 12” x 12” x 6”

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Guests may not bring into or possess any of the following items while in the stadium: (An exception will be made for medically necessary items)
  • Animals (service animals ok);
  • Alcohol/ Drugs/ Illegal Substances
  • Bags larger than 12” x 12” x 6” (even if clear) OR non-clear bags bigger than 4.5”x6.5” (see bag policy for more detail)
  • Balls (including footballs, beach balls, Frisbees),
  • Beverages (sodas, specialty coffees, sports drinks, etc.)
  • Bottles (except for full, sealed plastic water bottles or empty plastic water bottles or soft sided juice boxes)
  • Cameras with detachable lenses larger than 200mm OR video cameras
  • Cans and metal containers, including metal water bottles and aerosol cans (such as for sunscreen)
  • Cases for binoculars, tablets, etc. larger than 4.5” x 6.5”;
  • Confetti / streamers
  • Coolers / ice chests
  • Flag Poles of any kind / sticks, including selfie sticks / tripods
  • Flares / smoke makers / fireworks
  • Flammable Liquids
  • Flasks
  • Helium balloons
  • Laptops (NOTE: iPads, Surfaces, or other small tablets without a case are permitted)
  • Laser pointers
  • Noisemakers of any kind (including Trumpets, vuvuzelas, megaphones, COWBELLS ARE OK, air horns, whistles, drums, etc.)
  • Seat cushions with pockets
  • Signs/banners that are offensive, block the view of other guests, or create a safety hazard for guests and/or staff
  • Weapons of any kind, including pepper spray
  • All items with wheels (e.g. bikes, skateboards, roller blades, hover boards), except for any device which is medically prescribed or utilized in compliance with the ADA or other law pertaining to access of disabled persons into CenturyLink Field and Event Center. (Strollers are allowed but must be checked at GuestLink or fit under seat.)
  • Any items deemed by management to be inappropriate that may disrupt other guests’ enjoyment.
