Upstream

Q: Is there a lost and found?
A: Yes! Lost items found at the Sound Lot will be collected and turned in to the Merch/Info tent inside the Sound Lot; you may check with the tent any time the Sound Lot is open. Lost items from other venues will be collected and turned in to the Buttnick Box Office and available for pickup until 1:30am each night. Upon the conclusion of the festival, please email info@upstreammusicfest.com to check for any lost-and-found items. Upstream Music Fest + Summit is not responsible for any lost or left-behind items.

Q: How can I perform at Upstream?
A: Upstream artist submissions are now closed. Sign up for the newsletter to hear about artist submissions for 2019!

Q: How can I get my visual art displayed at Upstream?
A: Visual artists can reach out to info@upstreammusicfest.com.

Q: How can I submit to be a Guest Curator?
A: Upstream’s curators are selected by the Upstream Programming team, there is no submission process, but if you’re interested in your organization guest curating a stage, contact programming@upstreammusicfest.com. Please note, due to the volume of interest, the Upstream team may not be able to respond to every inquiry.

Q: How can I volunteer at Upstream?

Venues

Q: Are there ID or age requirements for Upstream?
A: Upstream’s Amazon Music Main Stage and KEXP Stage and the Sound Lot are all ages. Upstream’s Pioneer Square venues are subject to legally-enforced restrictions, closing hours and curfews. We do our best to include a variety of programming in venues to accommodate fans of all ages. When the schedule is announced specific age requirements will be listed for each venue.

Q: Which venues are ADA accessible and who can I contact for ADA questions?
A: Send any ADA questions to access@upstreammusicfest.com—we’re happy to help.
 

Ticketing

Q: Is the festival all ages?
A: Upstream is an all ages festival, however some venues are 21 and over (read more in the Venues section). Children ages 5 and under are free.

Q: What is the refund policy?
A: All sales are final. Ticket price is nonrefundable. No cancellations or exchanges. Please see Terms of Sale for everything you need to know about ticketing.

Q: Are my tickets transferable?
A: Yes, the name of the ticket purchaser doesn’t have to be the name of the person who activates and uses the wristband. Once the wristband is activated it can’t be transferred. If you are transferring your tickets to someone else, you can change this information in your Showclix account until midnight on Thursday, May 31.

Q: If I buy multi-day tickets (two day, three day, or VIP experiences) how many wristbands will I receive?
A: You will receive one wristband giving you access to the number of days you purchased. Once wristbands are activated, they cannot be transferred to another person. Once removed from your wrist, the wristband becomes void. For more information, see our Wristband Terms of Use.

Q: Can I buy a ticket to a single show?
A: You cannot purchase a ticket to a single show or venue. One Day, Two Day, Three Day and VIP ticket options available here.

Q: Can I buy tickets for a large group?
A: Yes! Upstream is the perfect weekend of music discovery to share with your clients, employees and friends. We’ve created a variety of packages with wide-ranging perks to fit your needs. Learn more.

Q: Can I update my ticket information?
A: Yes. You can log in to your account at Showclix.com and update shipping information until Friday, May 4, 2018. If you are transferring your tickets to someone else, you can change this information in your Showclix account until midnight on Thursday, May 31.  

Q: What if the name of the ticket purchaser does not match the attendee?
A: When wristbands are received, activated wristbands are required to register in the name of the attendees using the wristband.

Q: How do I get my tickets?
A: Upstream tickets are RFID wristbands (not a paper ticket), which give you access to all venues. Upstream will ship tickets purchased before Friday, May 4, 2018. If purchased after this date, they will be available for pick up at will call located at the CenturyLink Field Box Office (NW Corner) starting Tuesday, May 29. Please bring your ticket order confirmation and a valid photo ID. Hours can be found here.

Q: What are the hours of the Upstream Box Office?
A: Upstream has TWO box office locations— the CenturyLink Field Box Office (NW Corner) and Buttnick Box Office.

Q: Where is will call located?
A: Will call is located at the CenturyLink Field Box Office (NW corner) starting Tuesday, May 29. If you purchased a ticket online after Friday, May 4, your ticket will be available for pick up here. Hours can be found here.
 
Please note: Summit attendees will pick up their tickets at the Upstream Buttnick Box Office. Hours can be found here.

Q: What type of tickets are they?
A: Tickets will be wristbands that will require activation prior to entering the fest. We will provide you with activation instructions closer to the fest date.

Q: How do I activate my wristband?
There are three easy ways activate your wristband, including:
  1. App: Use the Official Upstream Music Fest + Summit App powered by Amazon Web Services. Once you’ve downloaded the app, open the left menu and select “Wristband Activation.” Follow the prompts from there.
  2. Online: Go to www.upstreamwristband.com and follow the prompts.
  3. In Person: Visit an activation kiosk at the CenturyLink Field Box Office.
